National / Regional  Positions Outside Sales Representative

 

The outside Sales position will promote and sell equipment, pharmaceutical chemicals, and educational services, along with other pharmaceutical products to current/new independent pharmacists and/or other healthcare entities.

 

Responsibilities

                    Handle communication/interaction as needed with and for the customers in the territory, i.e. initial set up, problems, questions, updating sales data in the system, investigations, resolutions, deliveries, sales calls, respond to queries, bulk sales conversations and bulk sales follow-up, provide updates on new chemicals, and/or products, etc.

                    Prepare, present and/assist with events; trade shows, seminars or symposiums as outlined, which include assisting with equipment and supply set up and demonstrations

                    Coordinate matters i.e. current account activities and literature regarding individual territory and work in tandem with designated individual Inside Sales team

                    Use company tools and software to analyze sales and discuss progress with accounts and management

                    Present the top products/services/trends/competition of your region and company

                    Develop and maintain relationships with contacts

 

Activities

                    Minimum of three weeks or 80% overnight travel during the month

                    Visit an average of six customers daily

                    Actively work on top 250 accounts of the territory

                    25% of sales time will be spent on new customer development (prospecting)

                    75% of sales time Account Management  (New products/services to current customers)

                    Multistate Territory Management

 

Qualifications

                    Bachelor’s degree or three years’ experience in Medical/Pharmaceuticals preferred

                    Minimum of Two years of B2B sales experience

                    High Energy – I’ve got your back attitude

                    People person that’s looking for more than just a job

                    Excellent organizational, multi-tasking,  time management and interpersonal skills

                    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

                    Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and CRM software

                    Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

                    Prior medical/pharmaceutical sales experience strongly desired

                    Polished appearance and group/one on one presentation skills
