Inside Sales Manager (Houston)

 

Summary

An outstanding provider of healthcare and pharmaceutical related supplies and equipment is looking to add to their sales leadership staff.  This position will responsible for leading, organizing and developing processes; workload and team members for the Inside Sales Department toward the achievement of group and individual sales quotas.

 

Responsibilities

              Ensures the achievement of sales quotas and goals for assigned team and team members

              Provides feedback and coaching in line with the department needs for development

              Interviews, Hire and train need inside sales staff

              Ensures customer satisfaction by reviewing what is for their best interest and proactively addressing customer issues

              Creates and sustains a working environment that supports a team based selling attributes, i.e. professionalism, respect, open communication

              Takes ownership for campaign implementation and ensures that the sales campaigns are in line with the goals and objectives of the Inside Sales department

              Provides strategic direction around optimizing the role of an Inside Sales representative

              Monitors performance of the Inside Sales representative through call monitoring along with other measures to improve customer experience and team progress

              Conducts weekly team meetings that provide company and initiative update along with motivating the team

              Conducts quarterly and annual performance reviews

              Works with Customer Service managers, Marketing/Events managers and Operation managers to establish, develop, and manage Inside Sales’ programs, i.e. training, creating scripts, identifying and integrating lists, and achieving established targets

              Works effectively with other departments to insure smooth flow of information and a cooperative intradepartmental environment

              Evaluates and monitors the results of product campaigns. Plans future strategies accordingly

 

Qualifications

              Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Technology or related field

              Five years of experience in  an Inside Sales team leadership/management role

              Three to five years of experience in Inside  or Outside Sales

               Previous record of accomplishment managing and leading overachieving teams by providing individuals the tools necessary to excel

              Extensive knowledge of outbound and inbound telesales

              Excellent verbal and written communication skills

              Excellent project management, presentation and training skills

              Excellent relationship management and problem solving skills

              Ability to articulate concepts clearly and document procedures

              Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills

              Ability to identify problem areas, trends, and opportunities and take the appropriate action along with the aptitude for evaluation, problem solving, planning, and organization.

              Advance level computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Interne

 

Preferences

              Advanced degree preferred

              Advanced Sales Training / Sales Leadership training

              Knowledge and experience in Pharmaceutical or healthcare
